Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Role summary
As COO, you will be fully accountable for all operational outcomes and will own the execution of Meir’s growth strategy. You will:
- Lead and manage the entire leadership team, ensuring high performance, accountability, and execution.
-Identify and eliminate bottlenecks and inefficiencies before they impact performance.
- Build and implement scalable systems and processes to support continued expansion.

- Own strategic partnerships that drive Meir’s market positioning, distribution, and expansion opportunities.
- Make independent, high-stakes decisions that impact growth, profitability, and company direction.
-The COO must be a true business leader, not just an operator. You are expected to bring CEO-level execution, leading growth while ensuring operational discipline and financial success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Accountability
- Fully own and lead the executive team, ensuring all departments operate at the highest level, and creating a culture of accountability.
- Define and enforce clear KPIs across all functions, ensuring measurable execution.
- Build a high-performance culture that ensures accountability at every level of leadership.
- Identify leadership gaps, mentor key executives, and make tough decisions where necessary.
- Ensure the CEO is never pulled into daily operations—proactively solve problems before they escalate.
2. Growth, Scaling & Profitability
- Drive Meir’s next stage of scale, ensuring revenue growth aligns with profitability.
- Own the execution of new revenue streams, market expansion, and strategic partnerships.
- Implement data-driven decision-making to optimise pricing, supply chain, and financial performance.
- Ensure product, sales, and marketing are aligned for strategic and structured expansion.
3. Operational & Financial Excellence
- Improve efficiency across supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory management.
- Oversee and refine business processes, technology, and reporting systems.
- Manage company P&L, cash flow, and financial planning with the CFO.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities, ensuring sustainable margin protection and financial health.
4. Strategic Decision-Making & Execution
- Make high-stakes operational decisions without needing CEO involvement.
- Proactively solve issues, ensuring Meir scales efficiently without operational breakdowns.
- Own strategic vendor, supplier, and partner relationships to improve efficiencies and market positioning.
- Ensure cross-departmental execution is aligned for maximum impact.
Must-Have Experience:
- Have scaled a business from $20M to $40M+ in revenue, not just been part of the company’s growth.
- Held full P&L responsibility and directly managed financial performance.
- Led executive leadership teams, mentoring and holding senior leaders accountable.
- Owned operations, supply chain, and business scaling across multiple revenue channels (DTC, B2B, Retail, International Markets).
- Proven track record of execution—driving both revenue growth and profitability simultaneously.
- Made independent, high-stakes business decisions that directly impacted company success.
- You love working with young, but sophisticated businesses because your form of gratification is seeing tangible improvements and growth in the businesses you lead.
- You are hands-on, but you know that you’re a mentor, not a substitute teacher, however you also don’t sit in an ivory tower.
- AI is part of your day, and you recognise how it makes you more efficient.
What Makes You a Fit:
- You are a business leader first, operator second. You execute and drive impact at scale.
- You make bold, confident decisions without needing approval or over-collaboration.
- You hold leadership teams to a high standard, ensuring they execute without delays.
- You thrive in high-growth environments, where scaling and operational efficiency must work together.
- You challenge the status quo, proactively optimising business functions before issues arise.
- You are comfortable owning every aspect of execution, ensuring that growth happens without disruption.
