IT Solutions Lead

We’re Bared Footwear, an Australian-owned fashion brand that creates shoes you want to live in. Our team is growing and we’re on the hunt for an experienced IT Solutions Lead. Reporting to the Head of Engineering and COO, you will play a crucial role in managing Bared’s infrastructure and security to support business operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning and roll-out of network infrastructure across retail, office, and Warehouse locations.
Lead troubleshooting efforts for network-related issues, quickly identifying and resolving problems to minimise impact on retail operations.
Act as the primary point of contact for business partners and stakeholders and identify opportunities to improve IT services.
Assist the organisation in achieving the strategic IT objectives needed to support business outcomes.
Collaborate with IT Partners to triage and escalate ticket items as required.
Manage the onboarding and offboarding of team members across multiple locations.
Manage and secure diverse IT assets including but not limited to Mac OS, Windows, LINUX, etc. This includes vulnerability scanning, ongoing maintenance, patch management and assets decommissioning.
Provide robust cybersecurity measures to mitigate potential threats and breaches to the organisation's assets.
Implement and maintain network security policies, practices, and other security measures to safeguard sensitive retail and office data.
Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to procure and manage networking equipment, software, and services effectively.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures to facilitate efficient management and knowledge transfer within the IT team.
Support information security tools (MDM, EDR, and SIEM ) and enforce global security controls.
Implement governance and management practices to effectively mitigate IT risk across the technology landscape.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years of experience in an IT role with a strong focus on security
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in network management, with at least two years of experience in a leadership role.
Relevant qualifications in network administration and management, with expertise in Sophos or other security domains
Professional written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to confidently and clearly articulate complex issues and concepts to all areas of the organisation.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to extensively analyse business systems, processes and workflows and effectively apply problem-solving skills.
Experience in virtualised environments (VMWare) and cloud-based offerings (IaaS, SaaS etc.)
Strong expertise in Microsoft solutions and services (i.e. Intune, Entra ID, Defender, Delve, etc).
Experience in managing network and web security firewalls.
ITIL methodologies and suitable certification are a plus.
Experience in Essential 8 security framework is highly desired
