Marketing Manager (Meir/The Brand Aid)
Role summary
The Brand Aid (TBA) provides fractional CMO leadership to Meir, an Australian family-owned luxury tapware brand based in Melbourne. Meir is now looking for a Marketing Manager to join the marketing team, either in-house or contracting through The Brand Aid.
We are looking for a generalist marketer for this highly executional role, responsible for implementing marketing initiatives and campaigns as directed by the CMO. This person will efficiently handle projects, enabling the CMO to focus on high-level strategy.
Success in this role requires excellent organisational skills, creativity, and a proactive approach to completing tasks with minimal supervision.
The role offers exceptional flexibility in days and hours to facilitate real work-life balance. Depending on the candidate, employment arrangements can be either:
- Full-time or permanent part-time employee of Meir (min. 4 days per week).
- Contract role, employed by TBA. This would initially be a six month contract, with the view to extend for the right candidate. Must hold an ABN if you’re interested in the contract role.
This is a hybrid role with three days per week working from Meir’s office in Albion, but there is complete flex as to the days and times. The role can start in Feb or April, but there's flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Execution & Management
- Execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels following CMO briefs
- Manage day-to-day activities on Google AdWords, Meta, and advertising platforms
- Create and optimise email campaigns via Klaviyo (minimum 2/month) with A/B testing
- Monitor campaign budgets and performance metrics
- Support quarterly product launch strategies
- Execute EDM campaigns with segmented audience strategies
- Coordinate between teams for campaign asset delivery
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to meet campaign objectives
- Track and report on campaign performance metrics
- Support new product launches and promotions
- Copywriting for all channels and communications
Project & Task Management
- Manage marketing project Trello boards with clear task assignments for all marketing, content and web dev activities
- Set and track project timelines and deadlines
- Coordinate resources across teams efficiently
- Ensure project delivery on time/budget
- Maintain workflow documentation
- Process and prioritise incoming requests
- Track project progress and milestone achievement
- Communicate updates and roadblocks promptly to CMO
- Cross-team coordination through established channels
Partnership & Event Coordination
- Manage content partnership logistics
- Track influencer deliverables against contractual obligations
- Coordinate product gifting programme with clear guidelines
- Assist with trade show preparation and logistics
- Track partnership ROI and performance metrics
- Support ambassador programme management
- Coordinate exhibition events and trade shows
- Help prepare event collateral and materials
- Support sponsorship implementation and tracking
Marketing Operations
- Manage marketing inbox and enquiries with prompt responses
- Create monthly stockist newsletters
- Update stockist marketing materials
- Support sales team with presentations
- Process stockist enquiries and requests
- Coordinate with external suppliers
- Track stockist engagement metrics
- Manage monthly invoicing processes
- Maintain accurate documentation of all activities
- Update marketing calendars across all channels
Reporting & Analytics
- Update weekly performance dashboards for CMO review
- Track competitor activities and pricing
- Monitor market trends and opportunities
- Document campaign performance and ROI
- Measure partnership and campaign effectiveness
- Monitor budget utilization and ROI
- Report on stockist engagement metrics
- Use analytics tools to gather market insights
